When it comes to wellness, we can usually count on celebrities to have a few quirky hacks up their sleeve to keep them feeling fresh. With such a demanding job, it's important to be on top of your game, which means you'll try anything to stay healthy.
So when we got the chance to speak to Emily Blunt ahead of her new film, A Quiet Place, we couldn't help but quiz her on her beauty secrets.
We asked Emily if she had any wellness hacks she absolutely swears by, and she introduced us to oregano oil.
"I would say if you feel yourself coming down with a cold, which I'm like the worst person to nominate this because I sound horrible today - tail end of laryngitis. But... oil of oregano. You sort of just throw a few drops down there. It's disgusting, you burn your throat but I do tend to find it shortens the cold."
We also asked if she has any beauty staples she swears by.
"Well, I absolutely love Sisely products. I think they're beautiful. I love them. And Clé de Peau do the most fantastic concealer sticks."
Of course, we couldn't resist checking in with Emily on how it was working with her husband, John Krasinski, who directed and starred in A Quiet Place with her.
"In some ways, you are a slightly different person when you're at work and I think that was the thing we were a bit nervous about; whether we would be able to embrace that about a person, you know, this is not domestic life when you're on set. I think the only thing that surprised us was just how well we collaborated together.
"Everything else - when it came to his ability and his talent as a director and as a filmmaker and a visionary person - was something I've always known about him and I was just more excited for people to find that out, too."
A Quiet Place centres around a family who are forced to live in silence when a hoard of creatures begins attacking mankind, hunting using only sound. As a unit, they must learn to survive and communicate while still functioning as a family. There are plenty of twists, turns and edge-of-your-seat moments, as well as a few ball-your-eyes-out scenes and some sterling performances from the cast.
A Quiet Place is in cinemas from April 5 - go check it out!
