Jay-Z gave a 16-year-old school girl the opportunity to produce a track on his new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, which is released worldwide today.
According to one British tabloid, the rapper heard about Canadian bedroom producer Ebony Oshunrinde - who goes by the name of Wondagurl - after she had a chance encounter with his close friend and business associate, Travis Scott.
The teen subsequently sent Scott a reggae-style beat that she had created at home on her laptop, which prompted Jay-Z to recruit her to produce his album track, Crown.
Oshunrinde, whose credit appears alongside collaborators such as Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland on the album, said of the team-up: "It's a really good feeling. I want to show young people that they can do it. "Travis texted me and said, 'I'm about to change your life'. Usually that doesn't happen to 16-year-olds. "A lot more people want to work with me now. It's pretty cool."

Fans can visit the artwork - and the original Magna Carta - at Salisbury Cathedral Chapter House until the end of July.
The Magna Carta was the first document ever to be forced upon a King of England. It was done so by a group of his subjects in an attempt to limit the monarch's powers by law and protect their privileges. It was first delivered in Latin to King John in 1215.
It bares absolutely no relevance to the Holy Grail, which is a legend depicted through Arthurian literature of a chalice that can grant it's drinkers eternal youth.
The record will be released worldwide on 8 July 2013 via Roc Nation/ Universal.
The tracklisting is as follows:
Beach Is Better
Part II (On The Run)
Nickles & Dimes

Other collaborators on Jay-Z's forthcoming album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, include Nas, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.
The duets were confirmed after Jay-Z released more lyrics through his Samsung app on Friday 28 June.
The album will also use lyrics taken from REM song Losing My Religion and Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.
The lyrics to the REM track will feature on Heaven, which fans got a first listen to via the app on 25 June.
Magna Carta Holy Grail was originally thought to be the first album to go platinum ahead of its official release, after the rapper made a deal with Samsung to buy 1 million copies.
However, a spokesperson for the Official UK Charts company has since clarified the claims, and said that music which is given away for free does not qualify towards the official charts.
"Legitimate purchases of Jay-Z's album will count, however, as usual," they added.
The album will be given away for free to Samsung Galaxy smartphone users 72 hours before the record's official release on 4 July.
