Katy Perry has been talking babies in her latest interview (before you ask - no, she's NOT pregnant), but she has said that when does decide to become a mum, she's happy to do it without "a dude".
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, she explained about having kids: "I don't need a dude. It's 2014! We are living in the future; we don't need anything. I don't think I'll have to, but we'll see. I'm not anti-men. I love men. But there is an option if someone doesn't present himself."
It was rumoured that baby talk caused Katy to split with Russell Brand back in 2011, as she was seen in her documentary, Part Of Me, responding to a text from Russell mentioning their future children, by telling her audience: "I will be a mother when I decide to be a mother, but not right now. A baby can't have her baby."
And currently rumoured to be dating producer Diplo, Katy's confirmed to Rolling Stone that kids are still way off for her. She said the birth of her sister Angela's baby girl has made her realise: "I want to be doing that in the right time, and that's not in the next two years, you know?
"Maybe it's in a five-year plan, but I need to really be able to focus 100 percent of my attention on it. I don't really want to take the child on tour. Not until, like, birth through five is over..."
A mini KP would be adorable, but looks like we'll have to wait until 2019.
