Lululemon just launched their first range of beauty products

One "anti-stink" deodorant, thanks.

If you run, smash an HIIT class, cycle or do yoga in any of Lululemon's fancy workout gear, you're probably going to work up a serious sweat. The Vancouver-based athleisure brand has just announced that they're planning to "make sweaty amends" for all the perspiration that goes on in their outfits.

They've just broken into the beauty business with their launch of four new "dual-gender" products, specifically designed to address post-workout problems.

The range is called Lululemon Selfcare and it includes a lip balm, an "anti-stink" deodorant, a face moisturiser and a dry shampoo. They're all meant to be used by people of any gender, which makes sense given the fact that their gear appeals to men and women. Their beauty products have been "tested on athletes, not animals". They contain natural ingredients and are free from things like aluminum, parabens and sulfates.

All four new products are out online and in store this week.

"We’ve been inspiring people to push their sweaty limits for over 20 years, but all of this sweat has had its consequences — chapped runner’s chops, HIIT hair, hot yoga face and eau de burpees," Lululemon said. "We’re now committed to making sweaty amends by solving some of life’s sweatiest problems so you can push yourself even further."

The brand brought on fitness and self-care experts to develop these practical beauty products. They range from £12 for a travel deodorant to £48 for a face moisturiser.

The dry shampoo, which contains green and brown algae, is meant for fitness fans who don't have time to shower after their workout. The deodorant is cooling and refreshing and the moisturiser contains menthyl to soothe redness after a sweaty session.

Catrina Yohay from PureWow says it does just that. "My face tends to get flushed and blotchy after exercising, but the gel moisturizer completely cleared up any unwanted redness," she said. "I've been on the hunt for an aluminum-free deodorant that smells great (read: not flowery) and can eliminate even my smelliest workout sweats. This guy did just that, plus the spray feature felt like a much-needed blast of cool air."
