The #MeToo movement is still rising as women continue to share their stories of sexual harassment and assault. Now a five-part documentary series exploring the issues behind the campaign has been announced.
Hosted by Zainab Salbi, founder of , #MeToo, Now What? will ask how we can create positive and lasting change.
“In order for this conversation to create true cultural change, we must talk with the man on the street, in our lives, our colleagues and friends,” says Zainab. “Equally, we need to have the conversation with the women in our lives to examine why, when we’ve seen sexual misconduct, we’ve often looked the other way when it didn’t impact us directly.”
The show will cover race, class and the impact of popular culture, with each half an hour episode looking into issues from sexual harassment to gender discrimination and pay inequality. Most importantly it's a new platform to examine how we can move forward.
Set to air on PBS on February 2, we're hoping it makes its way over to the UK soon.
