Gracing one of the most prestigious magazines in the world is the perfect opportunity to set new beauty trends.
First, Rihanna made razor-thin brows the order of the season as she covered British Vogue's September issue and now Beyoncé is using her appearance on the US version's cover to set some her own.
Queen Bey looked absolutely ethereal splashed across the front cover of Anna Wintour's magazine. But in a stark contrast to Rihanna's vibrant beauty look, Beyoncé shunned cosmetics and plumped for a super natural makeup.
Speaking about why she chose to ditch the cosmetics, she said: "I think it’s important for women and men to see and appreciate the beauty in their natural bodies. That’s why I stripped away the wigs and hair extensions and used little makeup for this shoot." What a message to spread.
So how did she achieve *that* glow? Well, her makeup artist, Sir John, has divulged exactly how.
He said: Beyoncé loves a ‘no-makeup’ makeup look. She’s all about being confident in your skin and owning your natural element. This look was all about redefining glamorous as a state of mind. We focused on enhancing her natural brows, skin, and structure — and bringing out that inner glow."
He began by prepping her skin with Marc Jacobs's Beauty's Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer, followed by Marc Jacobs Beauty's Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in Fantasy, which he put on the high points of her face. Next, he mixed Marc Jacobs Beauty's Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in Fantasy (which he says he uses religiously) with foundation to get that glow. To complete the look, he swept Marc Jacobs Beauty's Finish-Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder over her face.

Anyone else rushing to snap up the *entire* Marc Jacobs beauty collection?
In her interview, Bey also discussed how her body has changed since giving birth to her twins, writing: "To this day my arms, shoulders, breasts, and thighs are fuller. I have a little mommy pouch, and I’m in no rush to get rid of it. I think it’s real. Whenever I’m ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my ass off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA (Fat Upper Pubic Area) and I feel like we are meant to be."
No wonder she's earned the coveted title of Queen Bey.
Proving the power of no makeup-makeup, Beyoncé stunned with a pared back beauty look.
Opting for brushed-up brows, radiant skin and a super subtle nude lip, Beyoncé just slayed September's hottest beauty look.
The cover reveal comes after Beyoncé and Jay-Z gave us a rare glimpse of their twins.
Queen Bey took to her website to share a totally adorbs photo of her cradling 13-month old Rumi and Sir Carter.
The photo was taken during a family holiday in the middle of Bey and Jay-Z's On The Run II Tour.
The power couple opened their On The Run II tour in Cardiff and blew fans away by revealing they'd secretly renewed their wedding vows. Casual.
