According to a celebrity hairdresser, blowdrying your hair straight after you've stepped out of the shower is the single biggest mistake you can make.
Speaking to , celebrity hairdresser Anthony Nader shared some major hair faux pas people make every single day.
Anthony cited the most major hair mistake as drying your hair when it's soaking wet, which is probably something you've been doing every single day.
'Chocolate cake' is the hair colour trend everyone in LA is getting right now
"One of the biggest mistakes I see is people blow drying and brushing their hair without shaking out the excess moisture." Oops.
He also shared a surprising piece of advice, adding: "Ideally, you need to get at least 80 per cent of the moisture out before starting with your hairdryer."
Anthony explained that this will save your hair from damage because using your straighteners and curling wands is damaging enough as it is; unless, of course, you've armed yourself with a heat protecting spray.
His other top tips? Using too many styling products (hello, greasy locks), not blow drying your hair in sections, avoiding using the nozzle on the end and drying your hair on a super-high heat.
You've been warned, people!
