Acne sufferers have been taking to Reddit and beauty forums to share the surprising fruit-based beauty hack - and it makes total sense because orange rind is packed with skin-boosting nutrients.

Firstly, orange rind is crammed with Vitamin C, an ingredient that combats free radicals and leaves skin glowing. It also contains calcium, which helps renew damaged skin cells and boosts moisture levels.
Want in? All you need to do is peel the orange and grind the rind down to a powder, mix it with warm water and whip it into a paste. Then apply it to your skin, sit back and relax for a few minutes before washing it off with cold water to tighten the pores and await glowing skin.
Discussing the benefits of orange rind, Sanela Lazic, found of natural skincare brand Saint Iris Adriatica, told : "The peel of an orange is packed full of antioxidants, which also have antibacterial properties that stop spots from forming.
"It can also work to reduce pain and swelling of pimples.
"Use it fresh and rub it all over the affected area. Making sure you use a clean piece for each section of acne to stop any bacteria transfer."
