So grab a ruler, pencil and mirror and get ready to find out your fate…
All you need to do is stand in front of the mirror and make sure you can see the side of your face. Then hold the pencil horizontally against your face so that it touches your chin, and position the ruler beneath your ear and intersect it with the pencil. Measure the distance between the bottom of your earlobe to the top of your pencil.
To find out whether you can really rock a bob, your measurement needs to be under 57mm. However, if yours is over this, you might want to reconsider braving the chop, as we’d recommend keeping a bit of length over the shoulder.
