Charlie Hunnam is a British actor and screenwriter, best known for his roles in Channel 4's Queer As Folk, Sons Of Anarchy and Pacific Rim. Charlie was born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and moved to the Lake District aged 12. Charlie's TV debut happened when he was cast as Jason in Byker Grove, appearing in three episodes. His major breakthrough though came when he was cast as 15-year-old schoolboy Nathan Maloney in Russel T.Davies' Queer As Folk. Charlie then moved to Los Angeles and won a recurring role in the series Young Americans. He then went on to appear in Nicholas Nickleby, Cold Mountain and Green Street. In 2009 Charlie sold a screenplay, Vlad, to Summit Entertainment, in 2013, Charlie starred as the lead role is Guillermo Del Toro's science fiction film Pacific Rim and in 2016 Charlie starred in The Lost City of Z.
